Deputy Director General of the Security Service (MI5)
The Deputy Director General of the Security Service (DDG) is the second most senior officer of the Service, better known as MI5 (ref 1).
As of 2009, five of the Security Service's seven branches reported to the Deputy Director General, including those responsible for domestic and international terrorism (ref 1).
