MI6 Directorate of Counter-Intelligence and Security 1964-1990s
The Directorate of Counter-Intelligence and Security was established within the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) in 1964 (ref 1, p.267). It was renamed the Directorate of Security and Public Affairs in the early 1990s (ref 1, p.297).
