Norman Himsworth was an MI5 officer for nearly fifty years. He joined as one of ‘Knight’s Black Agents’ during the Second World War, running the anti-communist operations of Maxwell Knight’s agent-running section. He later served as a Security Liaison Officer in Iraq, the Caribbean and Pakistan. He continued to be involved in training younger officers in a consulting role until his final retirement in the 1990s.
