Security Intelligence Far East (SIFE) was a former British intelligence organisation based in Singapore (ref 1, p.448). Active from 1946 to 1963, it functioned as MI5’s regional headquarters in South-East Asia (ref 2, p.1).
It worked alongside MI6's Far East Controllerate and the Joint Intelligence Committee, Far East (JIC/FE) (ref 2, p.1).
