Archival Research Services

Much of my writing on intelligence history is based on two decades of work at the UK National Archives and other venues. I also undertake similar work for other researchers at competitive rates. Email or message me if I can help with your project.

Key Specialisms

  • Intelligence History: MI5 (KV) and GCHQ (HW) declassified records, MI6 (HD) and adjacent files such as those of the Special Operations Executive (HS), British Security Co-ordination and the Information Research Department (FCO 168 etc).

  • International relations: Foreign Office (FO and FCO) records.

  • British Empire and Commonwealth: Colonial Office (CO) and Dominions Office (DO).
